Game of Thrones boasts the second most Emmy wins for a TV series of all time (Stockdale, 2018).  They have received 314 prestigious awards and were even named the world's most pirated TV show by the Guinness Book of World Records (IMDb, 2018).

There is a great deal of symbolism in the show and that certainly doesn't fall short when it comes to the landscapes. The show explores dozens of kingdoms, each with distinctly different aesthetics that are designed to mimic the stories told there and the people who live there. Fog to lend itself to magic and mystery, snow to represent the dangers of starvation, stunning architecture to symbolize power and wealth.

So, I set out on the difficult task of recreating some of the iconic landscapes and cinematography from the show in an attempt to capture their evoked emotions.
